Brewery to launch online benefits system

first_imgBrewery and pub company Greene King is launching an online flexible benefitssystem for 300 management staff. The new system will allow staff to use the internet to choose from benefitsincluding pensions, company cars, insurance, holidays and retail vouchers. The technology is integrated into the company’s existing computer system andwill automatically communicate between employees, HR and payroll. Staff will then be able to view the value of their remuneration packagethrough a total rewards statement on the website. HR director John Roberts hopes the new system, called Signature and designedby 4th Contact, will make it much easier for staff to manage their benefits. “The system will improve data quality and lead to more efficient andsimple communications with the staff. “This will form part of a whole strategic platform using IT to enableus to manage our people more efficiently,” he said. Automating the benefits package will also remove the administrative burdenof the paper-based system that currently falls on HR.
