The game has set a new sales record–not just for video games, for entertainmentin general, posting $360 million in sales in 24 hours for North America.That’s $50 million more than the $310 million Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2 brought in last year. It’s also just under the current weekendworldwide box office sales record for a film. That record belongs to HarryPotter and the Half-Blood Prince, which raked in $394 million in its firstweekend.Sales for the game are ahead of Activision’s initialprojections.
